Assessment of nitrate-related ecological function indicators subject to anthropization within a large watershed.
Between 2018 and 2020, Roxelane Cakir - HETWA CEO and President - worked on ecological indicators such as the net nitrate balance (NBB), integrating nitrate removal (NR) and nitrate production (NP) within the Garonne watershed. The aim of this project was to understand the impact of human factors such as soil management and the impact of urban discharges on the nitrogen cycle.
